About Us

Educon Travel tours are the result of my love for travel, Bible study, prayer, history, culture, and building relationships. In the beginning I tried to find a travel agency that could build tours with this kind of dynamic, but with little success. It was with this vision for a new kind of tour that Educon Travel was born.

We conduct group and private tours, and we’ve worked with some great schools.

As we’ve matured we’ve developed our own signature, a way of touring that is unique in a field filled with faith-based tours. Our tours are distinct for we integrate Bible studies, sightseeing, cultural immersion, and spiritual formation. Here are our principles for creating great tours:

Our 12 Principles for Touring:

1. Every tour has a theme and a carefully developed itinerary which revolves around that theme.
2. The themes of our tour are Christ-centered and Bible-based.
3. Every tour includes a 2-3 night educational retreat as an introduction to the teaching program which will continue throughout the rest of the tour.
4. The retreats are in notable, memorable locations such as Patmos Island for the 7 Cities Tour and Mt. Sinai for the Exodus Tour.
5. Our prices are all up-front with no special excursion fees, surprise gratuities collections, etc.
6. We pay our guides for their services; we’re never forced to eat or shop in places besides where we’d like to go.
7. Our groups are small (20-24) with the benefits that we’re more flexible and personable than larger groups.
8. Daily devotions, Bible studies, and Sunday worship are a part of our regular programming.
9. We enjoy delicious, varied, and authentic local meals; we never eat “American buffets” in hotels.
10. We stay in charming, family-run accommodations; we never spend the night in franchise hotel chains.
11. We always have professional teachers, scholars, and pastors to lead teaching times.
12. We offer the best value in travel. We are a small agency focused on education. We keep our prices low with the hope that we can make Bible tours more accessible.
