Our tours for 2012: (Click on a link to see more!)

WHAT MAKES OUR TOURS SPECIAL?

Each one of our tours was created with a theme designed for the Christian who desires to grow in spirit, mind, and body. These tours include educational retreats, daily devotionals, Bible studies, and pastoral leadership. In addition, they include lots of healthy walking; delicious, authentic local meals; great accommodations in family-run hotels; and much more! Please take look at the About Us page for more about how our tours are unique.

Here’s an audio introduction for Educon Travel, which we did for KFSH Radio 95.9, Orange County, California.

THERE ARE 2-WAYS TO DO OUR TOURS:

1. Make It Your Own! If you want to take ownership of one of our land tours with your own teacher, or if you want to create your own dream tour from scratch, then we can provide one free fare for an instructor-leader and you’ll be able to build the curriculum for the tour according to your own needs. We’ll provide on-site coordination, but you’ll have the reigns otherwise. If this sounds interesting to you, please go to the Contact Us page and let us know how we can work with you to make your dream tour come true.

2. Join Us! Continue reading, find a tour that interests you, and come on board! It would be great to have you on one of our tours!

Your cost for a land tour includes travel guides; accommodations for every night on the tour; all group transportation and excursions in the itinerary; all breakfasts and half your dinners; and tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff’. Your out-of-pocket expenses will be limited to passport and visas; half your dinners; drinks; free-time sightseeing; travel insurance (not required but recommended); and personal expenses (e.g., checked luggage, laundry, phone calls, etc.). There are no excursion fees or fares we don’t tell you about up front; what you see is what you get.

What you pay Educon Travel for a cruise includes the basic fare, PLUS accommodations and dinners in departure and final destination cities (one night in each), PLUS excursions from all ports (including tips for guides & drivers!). If you’re comparing our price with the cruise line directly, be sure to take these added benefits into consideration! Our cruise in November includes more than $1,400 worth of excursions! I’ll let you do the math! Please see the cruise tour page for more information about fares.

WHAT ABOUT AIRFARE?

There are two options for arranging a flight to a tour’s starting point:

(1) You may book an individual fare with Educon Travel for a service fee of $25. However, you may take care of this yourself very easily using one of the many travel search engines available online. WARNING: Before purchasing a fare, please confirm with us the tour’s itinerary and your intended arrival time. Note, you need to plan to leave home at least one day before the tour begins. Please take a look at our International Airfare page for links to recommended travel search engines.

(2) You may book a group fare with us if you have a group of 10 or more persons from your church, school, or such. We will book group fares for our tours for no extra charge.

But first things first! Let’s take a look at a tour, shall we?!

Below is a video clip students put together during their Religion in Britain tour, January 2012. Educon Travel organized this tour in partnership with Trinity Lutheran College, Everett, Washington.
